Terms of Service
Last updated 16 August 2026
Short version: use it, it is free, your data belongs to you, and we make no promises about uptime. The longer version follows.
The service
BeHabitual is a web app for tracking habits. It is free to use and currently in early access, which means features can change and things can break.
You need an account to use it. You are responsible for the email address and sign-in method attached to that account.
Your data is yours
We claim no ownership over the habits you create or the days you log. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train anything.
We will read your rows only when you ask us to help with a specific problem, or when a bug forces us to look at the shape of the data to fix it.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we do not offer a formal support commitment while BeHabitual is in early access.
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. You can export everything you have logged to a spreadsheet at any time from your settings. We will give notice before discontinuing the service.
Reasonable use
Do not attempt to reach other users' data, place unreasonable automated load on the service, or use the account system to send anything to anyone.
We may suspend an account that does any of the above. We will tell you why.
Ending it
You can stop using BeHabitual at any time and ask us to delete your account and its data. There is nothing to cancel and no billing to unwind.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, the date on this page changes and we will note it on the site. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
